Etat très satisfaisant (rel. frottée, essentiellement en plats, ex-libris du Baron Paul de Richemont contrecollé en garde). L'auteur, Joseph Delaroa (1821-1890), issu d'une vieille famille de Saint-Etienne, fut notamment chef de bureau au Ministère de l'Intérieur, conseiller général de la Loire, secrétaire du Duc de Persigny. Il écrivit plusieurs ouvrages consacrés en particulier à l'histoire du Forez. Il présida d'ailleurs la société des Foréziens, à sa création à Paris en 1885. Langue: Français. signé par l'auteur.
