First edition, out of series from an edition of 2,000 copies signed by Dominique Tarlé, this a review copy. This work reveals for the first time the complete body of photographs taken by Tarlé during his stay with Keith Richards and Anita Pallenberg at Villa Nellcôte in the summer of 1971, photographing the Stones during their s…ix-month stint in the south of France while they recorded tracks for one of their most iconic albums, Exile on Main St. Quarto. Illustrated throughout with 280 photographic illustrations. Original yellow quarter leather over blue cloth boards, lettering to spine in black, inlaid label on front board, photographic endpapers, edges gilt. Housed in the publisher's illustrated photomontage slipcase. Minimal rubbing to slipcase, otherwise a fine copy.
