Condition: Very good. - Octavo, softcover bound in pictorial cream wraps. There is some minor soiling to the wraps with very light staining to the bottom corner of the front wrap. 32 pages. Black-and-white illustrations. Very good. A reprint, with minor corrections and a new preface, of the edition published in 1885 by the Daily… Times, Glen Falls, NY. The new preface points out that Dornburgh's title was a misnomer or a misunderstanding since he appears to assume that the Adirondack region was named from the Adirondack Iron Works, whereas in fact it was the other way round.

Soft cover. Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. 14 pages, yellow wraps. One of the elusive classics of Adirondack literature, Plum ( #18 in "Adirondack Bibliography"), described this as "scarce" in 1958, it may more aptly be labeled "rare" today, and particularly so in this fine condition. An absolutely impeccable copy.
