Classified in alphabetical order, these volumes from 'Canapes' to 'Credences'; and from 'Credences' to 'Vitrines'.A very scarce publication, found institutionally only at the Victoria and Albert Museum libraries with twenty parts in six volumes. The present copies bound without title page or leaves of text, only featuring leaves of plates.Collated with one hundred and eighty full page plates of heliogravures, ninety per volume.From the 'EncyclopeÌdie du meuble du XVe sieÌcle jusqu'aÌ nos jours' by Edouard Bajot, author of French Decorative Designs of the 18th Century. Dated via Jisc, most probably the C Schmid edition of 1901-09. In uniform quarter straight up grain morocco bindings over cloth covered boards, marbled endpapers. Externally with bumping and rubbing to head and tail of spine and boards, small library shelf number labels to head of spine, lightly chipped with minor loss. No further library markings.
