Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 4th Edition. 354pp followed by a fold-out map, physical and political, in black and white of the Republic of Venezuela (1986 edition). Includes a number of sepia photographs taken by the author, a Czech traveller and photographer who lived from 1860-1932, himself. The book records from diaries the journey undertaken by Vraz in 1890 which took him along the Orinoco river down to the Amazon river and then across the Cordilleras down to the Pacific coast. The book was first published in 1900. Apart from a slight nick to the top edge of the front of the dust jacket there are no other faults. Text in Spanish.
