Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Limited Edition. Italian text. Apparently prepared for the centennial of Puccini's birth(?) 167 pages plus 18 pages on glossy coated paper facsimiles of letters, contracts, etc., in Puccini's hand with photos. Interestingly, traced acroos a photo of Puccini is an inscripion in red, done by hand, of a Puccini comment with signature. Laid in is an apprx 18 x 13" color folding map of Lucca with the opera house and other tourist destinations inexed which would seem to indicate that the book was purchaed in Lucca on the occasion of the centennial celebration. The bottom edge of the book is abraded from having been shelved upright and there are some cover spots and edge chips but makes a presentable appearance in plastic d/j.
