Softcover. Condition: Fine. Premiers issue. Small octavo. 46pp. Fine in printed wrappers. In the editor's introduction, Gwynne writes: "This anthology's beginnings were readings given by many of these poets for my literature and composition classes at Malcolm-King College, located in Harlem." Prints four poems by Amiri Baraka, two poems by Amina Baraka, and poems by Fatisha, Ruth M. Garnett, Kurt J. Lamkin, Judith D. Simmons, George Edward Tait, Arthur Wright, and others. *Steppingstones* was published thrice yearly between 1982 and 1985, per *OCLC*.
