Pp. 96(last blank), 12 plates, text illustrations, patterned endpapers, full page map; demy 4to; pictorial boards, edges a trifle browned, corners faintly bruised; dust wrapper, slightly soiled and foxed, edges rubbed and split, with a couple of small chips and tears, the backstrip browned; scattered light foxing and occasional slight soiling; book label of David Levine, Sydney, on verso of upper free endpaper; John Sands, Sydney, 1946. First edition. *Includes a full list of the ship's complement. The map shows the operational activities of H.M.A.S. Shropshire in the Pacific, 1943-45.
