Condition: Fair. 1878. No Edition Stated. 600 pages. No dust jacket. Black leather with gilt decoration and lettering. Prize plate to front pastedown. Pages are moderately tanned and thumbed at the edges, with heavy foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Lightsplitting to both spine joints.

Condition: Fair. 1893. No Edition Remarks. 466 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with decorations. Pull-out map to final page. Slight cracking to hinges and gutters causing boards and binding to be loose. However, boards and pages throughout remain attached. Pages are lightly tanned throughout. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Slight crushing to spine ends. Wear marks overall.
