Translation of a latin manuscript on the life of Saint Francis the 'Actus Beati Francisci Et Sociorum Eius' the earliest known copy of which is dated 1390. Attributed to Ugolino Brunoforte the work, whilst not a strictly accurate biography, is a colourful & lively account of the life of St Francis & his followers & is filled with many of the miracles for which the Saint is known today. 475 grams.
