Catalogue of The International Pinhole Photography Exhibition (TIPPE), curated by Bobbe Besold and Eric Renner and organized by the Center for Contemporary Arts of Santa Fe. The catalogue grew out of Eric Renner's Pinhole Resource (founded 1984 in San Lorenzo, New Mexico), the principal research archive and network for the medium. Twenty-two contemporary pinhole photographers are presented in individual plate sections, often with images of the artist's hand-built cameras alongside the resulting photographs: Jo Babcock, Thomas Bachler, MM/Pinky Bass, Jay Bender, Denis Bernard, Martha Casanave, Pierre Charrier, Paul Cimon, Jeff Fletcher, Paolo Gioli, Peggy Ann Jones, Martha Madigan, Eric Renner, Catherine Rogers, Julie Schachter, Andrew Semel, Nancy Spencer and Rebecca Wackler, Dominique Stroobant, Sarah Van Keuren, and Willie Anne Wright. Cover image is a pinhole photograph by Bobbe Besold. Funded in part by the Lannan Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts Museum Program. Contents: Exhibition Schedule; Preface by Robert B. Gaylor; Notes Toward a Stenopaesthetic by James R. Hugunin; On the Pinhole: Its History in Science and Art by Eric Renner; individual artist plate sections (Babcock, Bachler, Bass, Bender, Bernard, Casanave, Charrier, Cimon, Fletcher, Gioli, Jones, Madigan, Renner, Rogers, Schachter, Semel, Spencer/Wackler, Stroobant, Van Keuren, Wright); Curator's Statement by Bobbe Besold; Artists' Profiles; Exhibition List.

Buch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - Fiction. A Mockumental Work of the Imagination by J. A. Ellis, resident of Chicagary, Usonia. He is another Billy Pilgrim lost in a time of fascist violence and succession. TAR SPACKLED BANNER is a 21st-century time- traveler's autobiography that recalls Fyodor Dostoevsky's anti-heroic protagonist's raves in Notes from Underground and the curious esoterics of Thomas Carlyle's Sartor Resartus. Ellis takes the reader on a scripto-visual journey into our near future where the Goosestep is even more popular than the Soupyi Shuffle.
