First Edition. 1907 first edition hardcover in navy blue cloth covered beveled boards with bright gilt cover titles, spine gilt darkened but remains legible. 1.5" split in cloth at head and foot of rear gutter, tips and spine ends bumped/rubbed. Front hinge paper split, now re-glued. 304pp block is lightly foxed, crisp, tight and all leaves are holding fine. Book now fitted with custom clear acetate wrapper. On the frt pastedown is a prize plate for a 1913 'Lady Londonderry Competition' given to W. Murray Browne. Book is filled with many fold-out charts & graphs. The book is an extension of Bruce Lowe's great work the Figure Guide. In the preface, William Allison recommends Meeks' book to all followers of Bruce Lowe: "They will find it to contain a mine of hitherto unrecorded facts and figures.".
