Dent, London which is listed first on the title page but E. P. Dutton as the publisher on the spine. The pages were printed in Great Britain so perhaps it was bound in the U.S. 309 pp. with a frontispiece, title page illustration and 11 other illustrations, all in color, by C. E. Brock. Decorated endpapers. The cover has a tan cloth spine and the remainder of the cover is in a soft fabric with an overall red and blue floral against a tan background.
1904, hb, no dw, small 8vo, with 25 coloured illustrations by Brock, elaborate gilt-decorated front board and spine, though spine is fading, corners bumped, top edge gilt, some internal brown-spotting, good plus.
