Condition: Fair. 1933. First Edition Thus. 250 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Prominent splitting and fraying to joints. Light thumb marking, foxing and noticeable tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking to gutters, exposing netting, but binding remains firm. Boards have noticeable corner bumping and edgewear with visible staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has minor tanning with moderate splitting, fraying and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

1st English edition, 1933. Owner's name on lightly foxed front free endpaper. Pages slightly yellowed. Binding tight. Dark red cloth a little worn with dull gilt lettering and decoration on spine. Used - Good. Good hardback (no dust jacket).
