There is a rubberstamp on the title page from the Agencia Nacional Biblioteca dated 21-1-53. Text in Portuguese as well as original Latin. viii + 434 pages. Illustrations in the text and a full page facsimile of the original 1648 title page. This volume comes from the collection of Dr. Thomas Lovejoy, who was a passionate book collector as well as a renowned biologist.
