Blue-grey title plate affixed to top half of front panel. Heavy wear to board edges and raised spine edge ribs. All four board corners bent, bruised, bowed, broken & crushed exposing the grey cardbock innards. Red Chinese letter stamped in center of front free end page. Another tiny Chinese letter stamped in red ink below publisher's name and date of publication on title page. Top textblock edge is tinted grey. [99 pages] Bynner with his friend Arthur Davison Ficke, was perhaps best known for the creation of the literary hoax of the'Spectrist' school of poets. This collection shows he was, a worthy member of the arguably not at all imaginary modernist movement. Bynner is notable for his openly long lived gay relationship with fellow poet Robert Hunt, starting in 1930 until Bynner's death in 1968.
