Marbled endpapers and pastedowns. Title page printed in red and black. With a few engraved headpieces. With a four-page leaflet laid in, titled The Three Calls, number 11 in the series, "Leaves of Comfort". This volume is part of the publisher's Cross and the Crown series. A volume of religiously themed poems. Light rubbing to the boards' edges and a tiny dampspot to the rear blanks. An 1870 gift inscription on the first blank.

With the errata slip tipped in before the table of contents page. A dialogue between a man and his Clergyman discussing Salvation and if Jesus has provided a path to it. A Very Good copy with minor fading to the spine and a bit of fraying to the rear cover, with a contemporary name on the front flyleaf.
