The binding is cracked such that all the pages are loose; book must be handled with care. Pages 178-190 and pages 433-34 have some tears; some of these have been repaired with old tape that is now tanned and makes the text underneath difficult to read. Otherwise, the text remains clean. A scarce book, although badly worn.

Bumping and fraying to head and tail of spine with some fraying to the bottom right corner. Minor creasing to both panels. Some soiling to front panel. Several miscellaneous prayer cards are loosely inserted in textblock. Pages are lightly toned but are clean and unmarked. Overall, a lovely copy in Very Good+ condition. .

A smll, flexible hardcover book bound in full black leather with gilt edges and an attached ribbon bookmark, with tissue dustwrapper and original box. Exceptional condition --- the book itself is like new, apparently unused and barely handled, unmarked and tight and gilt still shiny and smooth. The dustwrapper has a few small closed tears, but remains largely intact. The box is lightly chafed but sturdy, and has a faint ink notation on one side of the lid. A beautiful, collectible copy! Traditional Catholic devotional in large print (about 6 lines of text per inch) containing the Tridentine Mass in both Latin and English. The Imprimatur is dated August 2, 1923. Measures approx. 6" x 4" (not including the box).
