Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First edition. 183pp. Black cloth, gilt spine. Penciled annotations throughout, small soil spots on a few pages, moderate edgewear, very good, lacking a dust jacket. Laid in are two Typed Letters Signed by Guedalla to New York bookseller and director of the Gotham Book Mart, Matthew Monahan dated 1976 and 1988. In both letters he mentions how a friend informed him that Monahan said there were a number of errors in his bibliography. Guedalla asks if he could tell him where his mistakes were made as he is planning a new edition (it does not appear that he ever published said edition). Penciled additions and corrections throughout, likely in Monahan's hand. Also laid in are the mailing envelopes and further inked additions on a piece of paper.
