No Binding. Condition: Fine. This is a rare antique flyer for a stage play, circa 1890, announcing a live performance, starring Mr. Hi. Horton, in the rural comedy drama "HI HUBBARD" by Scott Marble (1847 - 1919). Mr. Marble wrote several well-received plays, the most famous of which is "The Great Train Robbery" (1896); that play was rewritten for film (some seven or eight years later), and went on to become one of the most famous silent movies ever filmed. Other plays by Scott Marble were : "Tennessee Partners" (1894) / "The Sidewalks of New York" (1895) / "The Cotton Spinner" (1896) / The Heart of the Klondike" (1897) / "Have You Seen Smith" (1898) / "On Land and Sea" (1898) / and "Daughters of the Poor" (1899). The front of the flyer reads : TO-NIGHT / This May Interest You / If you want to enjoy a REALLY GOOD PLAY well presented by a Company of excellent New York players/ GO SEE / The Greatest of all Rural Plays / HI HUBBARD / TO - NIGHT. On the reverse side it reads : TO - NIGHT KEEP THIS. FREDERICK ROBERTS Presents MR. HI. HORTON and a company of New York Players, in Hi. Hubbard An Original Comedy Drama, in four acts, a Story of Country Life - told in a simple way, as refreshing as a Summer shower and delightful as a Breath of New Mown Hay. Written by SCOTT MARBLE, Esq. Following this are the roles and actors' names: — Ralph Benedict, an artist . Mr. Jeff Osborne — Hap Hazzard, a country boy, in love . Mr. Frank Millard — Mark Stratton, a smooth customer . Mr. Frederic Malcom — Abe Greene, who never misses a circus . Mr. Jimmie Smith — Weezer, born colored, with a wonderful memory . Mr. Ed Gorman — Helen Hubbard, ambitious to be an artist . Miss Pearl Abbott — Samantha Hubbard, Helen's aunt . Miss Mary Moore — Celia Dupree, agent for the new melodian . Miss Adelaide Leeds — Sleepy, tired, but awake at the right time . Miss Ethel Harborough — HI HUBBARD , a New England Farmer of the old type . Mr. Hi. Horton Following this is a brief synopsis of the setting of the four acts. The only one of the above actors that I have found any record of is Miss Pearl Abbott, who may have gone on to front a troupe of her own players. This is not to say that a more thorough and far-reaching search could not come up with more information. Neither the city nor theatre is named, although Mr. Roberts is either the theatre manager, or he is the acting troupe's manager (I have no information on Mr. Roberts). The flyer is not dated, but it's style places it , to my eye, circa 1885 + - (one of the characters is an agent for the "new melodian") The flyer, which is printed black on orange paper, measures 5 1/4" x 7 1/4", and is printed on both sides. CONDITION . Exceptionally well-preserved! The ad was folded once horizontally, else it is in excellent condition, clean and crisp. This is a rare item - I find no record of it anywhere. This may be the sole surviving specimen.

From the cover: The logics of digital processes in architecture have begun to structure the way that architects design, the way that builders build, and the way that industry is reorganizing. The process of architectural design has become a complex workflow. At the core of the shift toward more expansive forms of digital production within the design and construction industry is the integration of communication through digital networks. The goal is to develop a continuous, easily accessible and parametrically adaptable body of information that coordinates the process from design through a building's lifecycle. Organized around the key fields of Designing Design, Designing Assembly and Designing Industry, this book is a reference work on digital technologies as key factors in architectural design, fabrication and workflow organization. Buch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - The logics of digital processes in architecture have begun to structure the way that architects design, the way that builders build, and the way that industry is reorganizing. It presents essays and case studies from some of the leading voices on the topic.; Anwender aus Praxis und Lehre beschreiben den heutigen Stand der Möglichkeiten, Nutzungen und Erfahrungen mit dem Einsatz digitaler Techniken in der Architektur.

hardcover. Condition: Good. Our good condition books are generally good for reading but not for gifting or collecting. They could have imperfections such as creasing, fanning, inscriptions, margin notes, yellowing, staining on edge or cover or pages, bumps, scuffs, etc etc (sometimes multiple of these). It's a wide category that encompasses anything that isn't almost-new down to anything that is slightly better than poor. We would NOT recommend gifting Good books - these should be considered reading copies. Our books are dispatched from a Yorkshire former cotton mill. We list via barcode/ISBN so please note that the images are stock images and may not be the exact copy you receive, furthermore the details about edition and year might not be accurate as many publishers reuse the same ISBN for multiple editions and as we simply scan a barcode or enter an ISBN we do not check the validity of the edition data when listing. If you're looking for an exact edition please don't order (at least not without checking with us first, although we don't always have time to check). We aim to dispatch prompty, the service used will depend on order value and book size. We can ship to most countries, see our shipping policies. Payment is via Abe only.
