HARDCOVER. nd (c1960). First edition. A very good ex-library copy with age tanning to the edges, the expected library stamps and a small piece cut away from the top corner of the front free endpaper. The contents are fine and unmarked. The d/w is unclipped and fair with some soiling, tanning and general wear. Now in a protective cover. Scans available if required.

Hardcover in Dust Jacket. Condition: Very Good. One of the first, and still one of the best, monographs written about the seminal New Orleans cornetist, Louis Armstrong's "Papa Joe." This is a virtually mint copy of the First Edition, in dust jacket. It was the property of Armstrong's later clarinetist, Joe Muranyi, whose name is inscribed in ink on the front free endpaper.
