Not a book but a 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm vinyl Hawaiian record album, Double "A" Records DAS 1001, near-mint vinyl in a very-good cardboard jacket, Pat's, the picturesque North Shore landmark, presents Likelike Weisbarth, an orphan of German-Hawaiian ancestry, bass player Frank Tomaselli, brought up alongside Likelike at Honolulu's Salvation Army Children's Orphanage and now her husband, and Lilian "Peachy" Espinda, who was one of Likelike's cottage parents at the orphanage, and who now (well, in 1975) plays guitar and celeste with the band, which here offers Gus Kahn's "Ukelele Lady," the charming Japanese song Chotto Matte Kudasai ("Please Wait A Moment"), as well as Hafa Malagomo Korazon ("What Are You Doing To My Heart?") a tune native to Saipan, and a number of new compositions which are hapahaole (part English and part Hawaiian.).
