Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. First Edition (first printing). Small square 8vo. Unpaginated. Cloth-backed decorated paper-covered boards, lettered in black at the upper board. Binding just a fraction tender at several gatherings. A very good copy in lightly creased, marked and nicked non-price-clipped dust wrapper, with a small area of loss from the head of the unprinted spine panel, and a second smaller area of enclosed loss. A verso prologue precedes twelve stanzas printed to the versos only, with splendid scissor cuts to each adjacent recto. An unaccredited Cyril Connolly (then but 24 years old) contributes the prologue and the final stanza and this is therefore his first appearance in bookform (for which he was paid £5 and supper at Kettners). Most uncommon, and much more so with the dust wrapper.
