En Refraction, el espectador se encuentra con un accidente en el momento en que se ha producido: Un autobús volcado llena la pantalla, los socorristas se afanan y el tráfico parece estar atascado en varios kilómetros. No se muestra ninguna víctima del accidente, aunque su ausencia no parece llamar la atención de nadie. A medida que la cámara cambia su perspectiva desde el interior del autobús a la cola de los coches y a la zanja que hay delante del autobús, una energía antagónica tácita se va acumulando poco a poco entre los distintos actores de la escena. Refraction se presenta como una proyección en pantalla trasera sobre una pared ligeramente curvada, cuya forma refleja visualmente la carrocería del autobús.…
