This programme is a record of the extensive musical festival that was organised in Bradford on the centenary of the composer's birth. The Artistic Director was Eric Fenby who had been the amanuensis to Delius in his later years and was responsible to the completion of many pieces that the composer was unable to notate due to ill health. Fenby contributes an essay 'Delius As I Knew Him' There is a a piece on Rudolph Kempe who was to conduct the Royal Philharminic Orchestra in a Choral and Orchestral Concert in the presence of H.M. Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. and much else during a full week of concerts and lectures. Ref W1 Size: 102pp.
