In-4° antico (26.5x20 cm), bella legatura in vitello biondo liscio coevo con titolo su tassello e fregi dorati al dorso a cinque falsi nervi, piatti riquadrati da triplici filetti impressi a secco e dorati, racemi impressi e dorati perimetrali ai contropiatti, tutti i tagli rossi, sguardie in carta decorata. Pp (68), 962, (26), incisione allegorica (François van Bleyswyck, 1741) a specchio del frontespizio stampato in rosso e nero con marca tipografica anch'essa allegorica (Pallade Atena), 43 vignette incise. Ex libris applicati al contropiatto anteriore, scheda di pregiata libreria antiquaria torinese inserita tra i fogli di guardia anteriori. Abili restauri al dorso (cerniera esterna anteriore in prossimita della cuffia). Ottimo esemplare con carte sonanti. Pregevole quanto non comune edizione curata dal filologo olandese Augustin van Staveren di questa raccolta di testi di scrittori latini coi commenti di vari filologi e umanisti. Di Igino sono presenti le Fabulae (ovvero un trattato di mitografia) e l'edizione figurata del Poeticon Astronomicon (che nel 1482 fu il primo libro a stampa a contenere delle rappresentazioni figurate delle costellazioni, costituente il prodromo della cartografia celeste).
