First Rackham illustrated trade edition dated 1918 on the verso of the title, crown 4to (9.75 x 7.5 inches), pp. (1-iv), v-ix, (1), 1-132, (2), 8 color plates with printed guards after paintings by Arthur Rackham. Original gilt lettered and pictorial green cloth, top edges green. All first trade editions including the Lippincott first American trade edition are crown 4to in gilt pictorial green cloth and dated 1918 on the verso of the title page. There is no folio edition of this work. Latimore and Haskell p. 49. Very good with light wear to edges, extremities, and corners. Spine gilt somewhat dull. Sheets and plates clean, unmarked, complete. Old Christmas inscription dated 1920 on front free endpaper. H11062 All Items Are Sent Insured.
