Als die Spanier nach mühsamem Kampf Haarlem eingenommen hatten, rückten sie auf Alkmaar vor und belagerten die Stadt. Im Oktober 1573 mussten die Belagerer jedoch aufgeben. - Kräftiger Abzug, geglätteter Mittelfalz. Linke untere Ecke ergänzt u. minimaler Bildverlust tls. nachgezeichnet. Verso mit kl.
