Selbstmord durch Medikamente. Der 21jährige Berufsschüler hatte einfach keinen anderen Ausweg mehr gesehen. Was sich wie der Auftakt zu einem Kriminalroman liest öffnet in Wahrheit das Tor zu einem Phänomen, welches weltweit vielen Menschen das Leben schwer macht. Die Rede ist von gezieltem Mobbing und Bullying. Wenn man zurückblickt, dann hat es Mobbing eigentlich schon immer gegeben. In den letzten Jahren sehen sich aber auch immer öfter Schüler und Pädagogen an deutschen Schulen mit diesem sehr ernst zu nehmenden Problem konfrontiert. Wie sich aus Aufzeichnungen des Berliner Schülers im Nachhinein herausstellte hatte dieser immens unter Mobbing an seiner Schule gelitten. Das sich ein Schüler deswegen umbringt ist zum Glück noch immer die Ausnahme, doch was genau geschieht beim Mobbing innerhalb einer Klassengemeinschaft Wie müssen Schüler miteinander umgehen, dass einige von ihnen schwere psychische Probleme entwickeln Was lässt einige zu Opfern und andere zu Tätern werden Die vorliegende Hausarbeit soll diese Fragen aufnehmen und sich mit der Thematik tiefergehend beschäftigen. Dabei soll es keineswegs alleiniges Ziel sein, dem Leser die Begriffe Mobbing und Bullying durch sinnvolle Definitionen näher zu bringen, sondern vielmehr sollen im Folgenden auch gezielt Präventionsmöglichkeiten und Maßnahmen gegen Mobbing in der Schule detailliert aufgezeigt werden. Unglücklicherweise ist es immer noch so, dass in vielen Fällen die Kinder ihr Problem aus Scham und Angst verschweigen und die Eltern somit erst sehr spät davon erfahren. Zudem sind Lehrkräfte mit der Thematik zum Teil noch überfordert und können nicht in geeigneter Weise darauf reagieren.
