Four vintage studio still photographs from the French release of the 1941 film. French Twentieth Century-Fox stamps on the versos, and one with layout annotations in manuscript pencil. Based on Richard Llewellyn's 1939 novel. The men of the Morgan family earn a living working in their small Welsh town's mine, where they face dangerous and unhealthy conditions, and exploitation at the hands of the mine owners. Winner of five Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Cinematography, and Best Director. Set in Wales, shot on location in California. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus. National Film Registry.
