Hardcover. Condition: Good. Victorian Decorative Cloth Boards with gilt title block, 170 x 120 mm approx. 96pp. b/w line illustrated frontis + 10 chapter head line illustrations. A tale with all the drama common in Victorian children's books. Seemingly now quite uncommon. The only copies we can find at the time of listing are at… National and University Libraries (Copac). c.1891.Good- Boards- colour rubbing to cloth. Front Paste down browned and lacking free front end paper. Rear end papers very browned. Book block floppy with glue to some signatures failing but mull and sewing holding.
