Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. A rebound copy originally pub. in paper covers this copy is now bound in gray cloth boards with maroon leather spine and corners. Title embossed in gold on spine. Binding is a little loose but not bad. a little corner wear. Hard to find. Some wonderful old wyoming history stories in the collections half of the book. Perhaps an early form of the annals of wyoming.

Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Very nice copy in brownish paper covers. 169 pages. edges of cover overlap book block and are a little creased and worn as result but not bad. There is a tri fold pamphlet attached to back cover inside that is also done by hist. dept in 1922 that has info on state symbols, capitol and historical department.

Their work is to record events, the preservation of records, and carrying out the aims of the National Society--historical, educational, and patriotic. State Society Markers, Chapter names and Markers, and photographs are included. The name and address of the former owner of the book is on the FFEP; otherwise, this copy is clean and solid.

Soft cover. Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. 1920. Inscription inside the front cover: "Compliments of Eunice G. Anderson First State Historian Cheyanne, Wyo. July 18/21." Dark tan heavy paper covers w/ black lettering and decoration. Covers are chipped and creased along the edge and are missing small chunks at both front corners and at the top of the spine area. Tital page and rear endpaper have age toned/darkened from contact with the covers. A little rubbing wear to the upper corners of the pages. Rear endpaper missing part of the upper corner. Tiny damp stain at the top edge and corner of the rear cover and a couple of pages. Binding is still tight. Is good interally except for a couple minor imperfections. 182 pages.

Paperback. 1922. There is a picture of the Governor, Native American Basketry, Pima Indian Bowls.a total of 14 photos. 160 Fair. The paper covers and spine are very frail. There are tears and creases along the edges, a two inch long triangular piece is missing from the right front cover and 1.5 inch piece is missing from the top of the spine. The lightly edge-worn contents are good. no.

Content includes material on the Grattan Massacre, Indian captures, the Sioux Indians in Wyoming, the Cheyenne trail and a chapter on "Necrology" which lists notables' deaths. A scarce item.

The brown cover overlaps the pages somewhat and there is a bit of light chipping and tearing mostly at the head but a tiny bit at the tail of the spine. In the interior of the work there appears to be no underlining, no highlighting, no bookplates, no owner names, no folded or dogeared pages, not ex-libris, no remainder marks, no foxing, no smudges. Contents consist mostly of proceedings, historical collections, and necrology. A century old treasure of Wyoming history. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box!

The entire wrapper is neatly detached from the text block, else very good with a small tear at the bottom of the spine, staples a bit rusty with some light glue staining. This issue includes poems, essays and short works by Conrad Aiken, Richard Aldington, Maxwell Bodenheim, Arthur Davison Ficke, Eunice Tietjens, and others. An attractive copy.
