Remarquable danseur, il débarque à New-York en 1913. Après de nombreux petits rôles, il s'impose en 1924 dans "les quatres cavaaliers de l'Apocalypse" et "le cheik", dont il fera la suite ((le fils du cheik") en 1926, peu avant sa mort. A Star is Born ! Il fut un des plus grands acteurs du cinéma muet hollywoodien. Notre exemplaire est la deuxième édition après l'édition originale de 1914 !
