Leather. Condition: Good Only. None (illustrator). A rather scarce first edition of the Comtesse de Bremont's collection of poetry, in a soft leather binding. Bound in soft leather with gilt lettering. With the Times Book Club bookseller's label to the rear pastedown. With a colour frontispiece of Anna, Comtesse de Bremont. Not widely held institutionally. Bound in soft leather with gilt lettering. There is only mild wear to the extremities, with just mild rubbing and marks, with tidemarks to the rear board. The front inner hinge is rather strained and a bit weak. The binding is generally tight and firm. Internally the pages have very slight browning and the very occasional spot, with offsetting to the lower corners of the endpapers. Good Only. book.

Very good condition. The boards show signs of wear, with bumped corners and wear to the spine. Top edge gilt. Scattered foxing to front and bottom of text block. Book.

Three 8vo. volumes; the bindings in matching half-teal morocco over marbles boards with marbled endpapers; with raised bands, decorative flower and lettering in gilt; the top edges are gilt; Composers [x], [1], 2-253 pages; Virtuosi, [iv], [1]. 2-257 pages; Singers, [vi], [1], 2-227, [228]; there are no marks of any kinds in the books; the front joints are tender, but all are holding at this time.
