(1865-1918). A silent film actress and Broadway performer, Held married and divorced Florenz Ziegfield. She died after surgery to remove ribs to keep her waist impossibly narrow.LS. 1pp. 5 x 6 . No date. Boston. A letter signed Anna Held on Hotel Touraine Boston letterhead. She wrote in French that she was sending a signed photograph (not included). There is light toning to the borders, chips to two corners and a repair to the verso; it is in very good condition overall with a dark signature.
