Written by John Lempriere, an English classical scholar, lexicographer, theologian, teacher and headmaster. Corrected and enlarged by Professor Anthon and E. H. Barker. Further adapted to the present state by the Rev. J. A. Giles, late fellow of Corpus Christi College, Oxford. With the bookplate of James F. N.
