Towns, roads, political boundaries and rivers of the regions are all carefully delineated.The title cartouche is allegorical, featuring the angel of Fame and two Persian men, one with gold, jewels and oriental rugs, and the other with a glove and mapmaking tools, maps and a globus.The map is boldly colored and of significant import to those interested in the history of this part of the world, much of which is now at war.Condition: This map is in B condition with some toning, foxing and damp staining.
