Hardcover. Condition: Fine. 3rd Edition. A fine hardcover copy bound in full leather with five raised bands. All edges gold gilt with gilt geometric designs to inside boards. Signed binding by J. Lawler? 3rd Edition, first to contain The Life of Nimrod by Surtees. 18 HAND COLORED AQUIATINT PLATES, by H. Alken and T.J. Rawlins. An important book for the sporting life of the period. A very nice copy with just a touch of rubbing to spine. Copy is very tight with some light foxing to the first couple of pages. Spine is elaborately gold gilt to each compartment.
