First Edition Signed
Hardcover. "First Hardcover Edition" - 255p., illustrated with family snaps and many other sorts of visuals, including some sharp color-xerox graphics. Hardbound in 8.5x5.5 inch decorated boards, a structurally sound copy (hinges etc.) but rather dusty with handling. Exceptionally well-designed production, a good bit of talent (and money) went into this, luckily Herb's sons have (pretty obviously) been able to underwrite. On half-title find a signed inscription by Ari. Yes, "verses" implies versus, a difficult dad and complicated kids, exchanging excellent poems toward the end of Herb's life (he lived to one hundred).
