A resourceful catalogue of Herefordshire church plate, with an account of the plate held by each church in the region arranged alphabetically and an Index of parishes to the rear of the work. The idea for the work followed the theft of a chalice from a Shropshire church, which due to insufficient cataloguing, the vicar was unable to accurately describe.
