Initially planned for this edition in a single volume, it was later verified the impossibility of doing so due to the size of the subject and the high number of prints documenting it. In order not to make the book of many pages inconvenient or tedious, it was necessary to divide it into two parts, with an identical amount of engravings in each of them, obeying, of course, the chronology of the factories, whose review follows that of their artefacts and consequent evolution .(.)? Considered by many to be the most complete work on the subject. Profusely illustrated with photographs of pieces, mostly in color and numerous brands. Copies from the unusual special edition of 120 copies printed on "Emir" paper, numbered and signed by the author, and with publisher's sheepskin binding. They retain the dust jackets, with slight signs of acidity, and the protective slipcases.
