Front cover says,"Storyland", and has an illustration of two children looking at ducks and a rooster behind chicken wire. Title oage has title as A Story About Little Goody Two-Shoes." The girl… is holding a doll, the ducks have a first prize ribbon. The cover has nothing to do with story within. Pages are browning and somewhat brittle, front endpaper is cracked at hinge. Stain on lower foredge. moisture stain on rear board at the bottom. A story of two orphaned children who cared for each other but were separated and each found how to live full lives and were happily and productively reunited. The girl originally had only one show and when she got a second she went on to educate other poor children. The illustrations by the very talented Fern Bisel Peat give life to what otherwise would be just be a moralistic story.
