1st edition worn dust jacket Very Good octavo 214pp., index, An Indian gentleman's view of England & the English. Very good copy in dull orange boards. Offsetting to end papers. Dust jacket (by Wyndham Robinson) is rather worn lacking rear flap but mostly complete. A very good reading copy.

Pink boards are bumped and rubbed to the corners, the edges have minor wear and are a little faded, the spine is slightly rubbed to head and toe and a little faded, 214 pages, edge of text block a little uneven but tight binding, clean and without marks or inscriptions. Unclipped jacket is Very Good, rubbed along the folds and slight chips to their corners, spine slightly worn (creased, rubbed) to head and toe and is browned, slight surface soiling and a few minor scratches, a 1mm perforation to the inner edge of the rear, very presentable.
