First Edition
Original Cloth. Condition: Good. 1st Edition Thus. 60pp- the first 31pp are paginated nursery rhymes and the last 29pp are an unpaginated book about Robinson Crusoe. No date - though a place inscription to the front paste down reads 1870. Bound in original green boards with gilt embossed lettering to the front board. Numerous line drawings, at least one to each page, illustrate the text. There are several repaired splits to the spine strip, inclduing one running across the spine, though the spine strip is complete. Rubbing with a little loss of the outer cloth at the head and tail of the spine. The four conrers are lightly turned in. Former owners name inscription to the front paste down has bene rubbed out but leaves a faint indentation mark. Thre is scattered and light finger soiling to the pages and one or two gatherings sit a little proud in the textblock. Despite these faults, the book remains complete and tight and in good condition.
