Soft cover. Condition: Good. 40 pages. Contents include "Memories of Prairie Land; or Passages from the Diary of an Emigrant" by Mrs. C. A. Soule, describing (with some humor) her adjustment to her new home in central Iowa, anxieties about Sioux ("we have not seen a tomahawk; our scalp fits as tightly to our skull now as it did in New England"), wolves, wildfires, thunderstorms, and log cabin life.
