This is probably purposeful to fit the concept…s in the content in the book.One fourth of the front board has light foxing, on the left hand side. Decorated spine with gilt lettering on red bands. Corners bumped. Dust jacket is yellow and red with a greenish sculpted frame. It is chipped at the corners and edges of spine, with 2 small pieces missing. Unclipped, but no price indicated and mention of 384 p. (this copy has 358p.) Mylar protected. One of the Black and Gold Library titles listed on the back of the dust jacket. No mention of a translator. The French title was published in 1829 as " Physiologie du mariage ou méditations de philosophie éclectique, sur le bonheur et le malheur conjugal, publiées par un jeune célibataire."
