Condition: Very Good. First edition. First edition. One of 250 copies. Bound in publisher's stiff white wraps with cover drawings by Barb O'Connelly on blue paper adhered to front and rear wraps. [28] pp. Very Good with light edge wear, staining and foxing to covers and musty odor to contents. An important original mimeographed long poem about the riots, police repression, and general chaos that enveloped American cities like Levy's Cleveland in the late '60s, with the memorable lines: "only ten blocks away / from my total helplessness / from my boredom enforced by the state / they are looting stores / trying to get televisions / so they can watch the riots / on the 11 pm news." He pretty much nailed postmodernity right there. Taylor & Horvath B-14.
