Inscribed on upper main title by co-author McNair (who died in 1910) to Sir Hugh Wyndham, full signature, dated Oct. 1908; Wyndham was either the British diplomat who served as Mnister to Serbia, Brazil and Romania or the British peer who was 4th Baron Leconfield, likely the former.
