Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. First Edition. A very good copy of the first hard cover edition, lacking a jacket (perhaps as issued). The text is of course wholly unmarked, pristine, and the black binding with gilt lettering is bright and fresh in appearance. A lovely copy.

Mass Market Paperback. Condition: Good. First Edition. First US edition. Previously published by the Foreign Languages Press in Peking. Quite heavy fading to the spine with rubbing at the edges and a chip at the top next to the front cover. The front cover has a small nick to the right edge and a two inch crease to the bottom corners. The rear cover has two small nicks to the bottom edge, some rubbing to the corners and light surface wear. Some browning and spotting to the page edges, the insides of the front and rear covers and the first and last pages. Creasing to the bottom corners of the first few pages but the pages are otherwise generally clean and unmarked. First printing. Postage charge will be reduced by £1.50 when the order is processed.
