The August 7, September 4 & 11, 1937 issues of the Saturday Evening Post. Fiction includes most notably parts 3, 7 & 8 of 8 of Summer Moonshine, novel by P G Wodehouse. Other fiction & articles include Did You See the Coronation? (8/7), a short story by Paul Gallico, Marie Curie, My Mother (9/4), an article by her daughter, Eve Curie, parts 2 & 3 of 6 of Garden of the Moon (9/4 & 9/11), a novel by H Bedford-Jones & Barton Browne, and The Child by Tiger (9/11), a short story by Thomas Wolfe. Cover art by Ivan Dmitri (8/7 - Propeller), Clayton Knight (9/4 - Airshow), & Robert C. Kauffmann (9/11 - Back to School). Condition issues are: 8/7 - LIght edge wear with darkening to a small strip at the top and a 1.5" tapering to .75" strip at the fore edge of the front cover - sun darkening most likely; 9/4 - soiling, stains & small closed tears at the edges of the front cover, small spots to the fore edge of pages 1 -6, & stains to pages 85 - 88 and the back cover; and 9/11 - a 9" diagonal crease at the top right of the front cover through page 16, soiling to the top right of pages 13/14, and light soiling & a couple of small chips to the back cover. A very good set with serial installments & a short story by prominent and collectible authors. A heavy, oversize set that may require additional postage.
